The project will become the new center of leisure and entertainment with an expanded and diversified, multi-purpose use for citizens of the city and tourist.
The existing pool facilities are being expanded to meet the needs of a larger number of users. Along with the existing olympic pool there are several recreational pools with different functions and design such as slides, underwater massage, rapid rivers and the like, and indoor swimming pools all of which is to meet the minimum requirements of the city of Belišće. Also within the indoor pools there will also be a set of additional facilities such as a sauna and a small hall for aerobics or s gym and catering facilities that are common to both indoor and outdoor pools.
Next to the pool facilities there is a hotel that is suitable to various users, from business (existing industries) to tourism (untapped tourist potential of the region). The multipurpose hall will serve for either sporting activities as a complement to existing nearby hall, and as a conference hall within the hotel.
As a response to the given program specifications, the architectural solution allows the smooth
functioning of the complex throughout the year. The versatility and diversity of all the designed spaces are especially emphasized due to the size of the city, and of meeting the needs towards the various users varying from professional athletes, students, recreational to business users.
